Specialist Psychological Support for Adults, Children and Young People
At Wiltshire Psychology Service, we support adults, children and young people who are experiencing emotional, psychological or developmental difficulties. We help families understand themselves and their children better through specialist psychological support and autism assessment.
We are a private, independent psychology practice with a team of Chartered Clinical Psychologists, based in North and West Wiltshire. We have been providing specialist psychological services for adults, children and young people since 2006.
We offer support through two main pathways:
- Support and therapy for children and young people, including autism assessments
- Adult psychological therapy for people who are finding life overwhelming or difficult to manage, and want clarity, understanding and a clear plan for how to move life in the direction that is right for them.
If you’re unsure what support is right for you or your child, you’re very welcome to contact us for an initial discussion. We’ll help you understand the available options and guide you through the next steps.

Specialist Autism Assessments for Children and Young People
Wiltshire Psychology Service offers specialist, neuro-affirming autism assessments for children and young people aged 5½ to 25 years who may be showing differences consistent with autism. This is a specialist, NICE-compliant, multi-disciplinary assessment and follow-up support service. It meets NHS and Education Authority requirements, and can therefore be used as part of the EHCP application processes.
We aim to provide a thorough, respectful and strengths-based assessment process, helping families understand their child's individual profile, strengths and support needs. We will supply with clear feedback and follow-up support where needed. We understand that seeking an autism assessment can feel daunting, and we aim to make the process as clear and supportive as possible for both young people and their families.
